About Our Orginization

The Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter Foundation exists to support the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter through financial resources, community partnerships, and volunteer group engagement that enhance animal welfare, increase adoptions, and expand humane education across West Alabama.

Our Mission

A tan and white dog looking up at the camera with a slightly tilted head, standing on grass and small plants.

We envision a Tuscaloosa where every animal is cared for in a safe, modern environment designed to support wellness, encourage adoption, and strengthen the bond between pets and the people who call our community home.

Our Vision

A happy brown and white dog with a pink nose standing on a sidewalk, with a person wearing blue jeans and black shoes partially visible behind it.

Our Purpose

TMASF provides philanthropic and strategic support to the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter through fundraising, resource development, and community partnerships that expand the Shelter’s capacity to serve the region.
